Tammy's Story

Professionally I started a medical practice in the mid 1990's injecting a multitude of patients with botox, fillers, and laser services helping women (and men) stay younger looking. Being a pioneer in the world of aesthetics when the original botox became FDA approved, I then trained Bay Area physicians and nurses in the appropriate ways to inject botox for cosmetic purposes. I retired last year from my medical practice and am now currently finishing a book on the experiences I had within the aesthetic arena and primarily focusing on women and things women walk through in their own lives, personally as well as cosmetically to face the challenges presented to them. My current goal is to become a motivational speaker helping women with the challenges they face in today world. Personally I had three children and a grandchild. My first daughter Lindsey 31, was born of my marriage to the late Larry Hauser which many of you will remember as our high school basketball coach.....the guy who hit Kankakee like a speeding bullet and took Eastridge High to great heights in its basketball program. He also swept me out of Kankakee and off to California. We divorced several years later when Lindsey was 4 or 5 but remained friends and were both involved in Lindsey's life as active parents. Larry is survived by his wife of 16 years who has been an amazing force in Lindsey's life.....the kind of woman who embraced my son and I to join the family while at Larry's memorial service.....one amazing woman! I have a son Colby age 20 who current,y attends the University of Hawaii and I miss him immensely. A very amazing athletic who played high school basketball point guard (is way more like Larry than his actual father) and has the charisma and charm that Larry also posse...Expand for more
ssed. He openly sobbed during Larry's memorial which surprised even me. He was a central person in his high school of activities with things like having a tailgating party in the parking lot consisting of an entire living room furniture television and all......now he enjoys the islands (and the girls) as he possess the almost identical looks of Tatum Channing only with crystal blue eyes. My current fears is seeing on Facebook him cliff diving backwards with a caption stating (we do it for the homies) and I am so worried he will break his neck....and if he doesn't I will wring it next time I see him! Amazing man! My daughter Carly 17, a senior this year with applicants set to go to 13 colleges. A former cheerleader who quit her junior and senior years to focus on getting exceptional grades, is a stunningly beautiful person inside and out. Kathyrn Hepburn comes to mind when I was her grace and beauty. I am constantly amazed at how people look at her as we walk by (caught one young man walking into a parking meter glancing over at her) and am proud of her ability to just accept the attention with calmness and grace as when she was younger she grew very irritated by this, especially if they were an older man......nobody was being inappropriate as its hard not to look at her, she just couldn't understand the attention. Lol. Love her innocence as well and often wonder how she came from me as I think I was born with street smarts out of the womb! My granddaughter Madison age 11 is also Larry's granddaughter. (To be continued as I must get up and walk my girls (daisy and Chili) as they have been patient long enough and their search for squirrels each day is amazingly contagious). It's were the beginning of my second book was born. "Musings of a Mad Woman".
