Life
My Spouse
I married my high school sweetheart...Carl Rubino! We have been together for 32 years!! We have three kids! I met Carl when I moved across the street from him in 10th grade. I hated him at first because he wouldn't take me for a ride in his little boat on the canal....but once he did...the rest is history...go figure???Nobody was doing anything for a 30 year reunion so I "picked up the ball" and ran with it a few months ago.. we have really gotten a late start as far as trying to get the word out. I spend hours finding people.... but we are making great progress!! They will not allow me to put my email address or any contact info.. ( they want you to pay to get it..ugh) but you can go to the official school Southridge Website and they will direct you to a free website that has the info as well. So you can go that route or contact me through this site . Carl and I went to it last year and we had a great time!!! Hope to hear from you all soon!! We are "piggy backing" onto the Class of 1980's Nifty Fifty Party/Reunion because not only will we see more people but being it was so late we would not have gotten a VENUE..so it was very gracious of them to allow us to do so! My Pets
We have a lovely australian shepperd named Abbegale and she is our 4th child!
My Kids
I have three wonderful kids! Yes...I'm bragging! Carl III (CJ) is 22 and is very smart like Carl...(I can't take that credit) He graduated FSU and majored in Business. He is now working to become a Firefighter/Paramedic like his father. He is already a certified firefighter/EMT and is currently in Paramedic School. Cj played trumpet for two years as a FSU Marching Chief like his father.
Christina is 20 and boy is she also smart........you go girl! She is very independent and strong minded. She is in her second year at FSU..majoring in Exercise Science to become a Physician Assistant. She has marched 2 years as a FSU Marching Chief..playing the Baritone.
Melissa is 17 and is more like me...a "motor mouth!" We are in competition all the time...but I think she wins. She is very sweet and seems to never be "without a smile!" She has acquired my love for animals and has a gentle nature. She really "completes" our family!! She is a cheerleader and will hopefully be joining the FSU "family" soon.
My Job
I work in Obstetrics as a RN for the last 26 years. I'm also a CPR instructor. I do private visits to new moms and their babies.
