Tammy's Story
Tammy is from Caribou, Maine. She has been married to Tony Shaw Sr. from Ft. Fairfield, Maine since 1981. She has three grown children and thirteen grandchildren. Her schools include Caribou High School. She later attended Coastal Carolina Community College (Associate of Arts). She is a member of the Christian singing group Safe House. She works(ed) at the United Pentecostal Church, Convergys, Belk, and Safe House Bandpage, Inc.
One of Tammy's favorite quotes is: "Lord, grant me the serenity to accept the things I can not change; courage to change the things I can; and the wisdom to know the difference.".
More about Tammy: "I am a Christian, first and foremost. I'm, also, am also a mother and grandmother. I love my children and grandchildren. They are the best part of my life, other than my relationship with my husband and my #1 man, Jesus Christ.
I love to minister to people anyway I can. I love to give of my time and material goods to anyone in need. I especially love to share the Word of God, or the Good News, with anyone who is hungry enough to listen. I also love to minister to people in song. I am a member of the Christian singing group SAFE HOUSE. The group consists of my two daughters, Kimber...Expand for more
and Kristen, and I. Our first cd came out in August 2010, made up of songs we have written throughout the years. We hope to make another one soon.
I love to teach the word of God. I teach home bible studies. I, along with my husband, was a Sunday School teacher for 12-13 year olds and then ages 15-17, as well as youth leaders in our church, for several years."
"As to my faith...United Pentecostal by name. As to my faith...I'm a one God, apostolic, tongue talkin', holy rollin', born again, heaven bound believer in the liberating power of Jesus name. I've been washed in the blood, sanctified by the spirit. I believe in holiness and I suggest that everyone does the same. For without holiness, the bible says, no man shall see the Lord. I was set free at a Pentecostal alter on my knees, liberated from some things that had me terribly bound, so pardon me if I'm not ashamed to brag on my Lord for a while. He's done so much for me, I can not tell it all.
My interests include interior decorating, social networking, geneology, history, computers, acting, singing, writing, drawing, teaching, studying the bible, spending time with family and going to church...to name a few...and not necessarily in that order :)
