Tammy's Story
After we graduated I went to HVCC and got my RN with an Assoiciates degree.I married the man I met when I was 16, had 2 boys who are now 20, and 18, and I am still married to the same man! I finished my bachelors of science with a major in nursing when I turned 40! I have worked full time for 22 years as an RN, and am now currently the Charge Nurse of ICU.I am contemplating going back for my Masters but my youngest is getting ready to go to college and I want to get him taken care of first.My oldest child wen...Expand for more
t to welding school after he graduated and is now working full time with his Dad.My husband and I are experiencing "empty nest".We are just now starting to do things as a couple and enjoying it.We are still close as a family so I think that helps.We all love traditional archery as a family hobby which takes the seriousness of life away for a while.The support of my family has allowed me to accomplish my career goals. My Mom, Dad, and Sister live close by and I feel lucky to have them. Life has been good to me.
