Tammy's Story

Life After I finished high school, I went to the school of hard knocks. Learned some valuable lessons along the way. I met my husband, Tim (a 1975 graduate of FDSH) in the summer of '77 and married in March of '79. We have 3 children. Our oldest, Geoff, is 28, Matt is 25, and our "baby" Emily is 17. We moved out to California in 1980, stayed for a short time, then moved back "home" to be with family. I have been a daycare provider for 25 years and have enjoyed being a stay at home mom and raising my own kids. ids. After our youngest graduates from high school, we are seriously considering moving down south. I hope to open my own pie shop in a couple of years. It will be a nice change from what I have been doing, and it's something that I really have looked forward to. I enjoy family vacations, bike rides and walks with my husband, long heart to heart talks with my kids and spending time with family and friends. God has been good to me and given me countless blessings. I have a good marriage, good health, great kids and enjoy life in general.
