Tanya Marie Camburn "Tanya Camburn" is an American actress and model. At age 16 Camburn was a cast member of the TV series "Front Row Center." She started studying roles for screenplays while living in Phoenix, Arizona during her first acting courses. Since then she's moved to Los Angeles to gain recognition into the industry.
Born (June 5th, 1985) in Honolulu, Hawaii. Tanya Marie Camburn was raised by her single mother and grandmother on the big island of Hilo. She is a combination of Irish, Scottish, Swedish, German, and Dutch. At age 11 she moved from Hilo to Corvallis, Oregon. She moved around quite frequently growing up due to her mother attending Veterinary Medical school. At age 14 Camburn entered and won a talent search for a new face to appear in TV, films, and commercials. Upon acceptance she was offered a plane ticket to Los Angeles where she was to attend the 2001 Model / Talent Competition & Evening Award, Networking Party in LA with A-list actors, directors, and talent agencies. At 16 years old, Camburn entered another talent search, this time in Phoenix, Arizona. ere she played different characters. The show was aired on a local Arizona station on PAX TV which is now called AZTV. "Front Row Center" was produced by: StarBiz Entertainment. Camburn enrolled in Starbiz Entertainment's acting classes and modeling classes while still going to high school. In 2003 she graduated from Paradise Valley High School early, with Honors and a 4.0 GPA. In 2004 she moved to Long Beach, CA where she attended college and continued to study acting completing theatre, film, RTV, and acting courses. At age 18 Camburn began modeling, doing swimwear, glamour, lingerie, costume, casual, fashion, and active wear shoots. In 2006 she modeled for DUB Magazine posing with Ferrari and Lamborghini. This was also the year Camburn was featured in her first music video "Take It All Away" by the band Faktion. Shortly after this Camburn took a break from acting and modeling to care for her ailing grandmother. On August 29th 2008, her grandmother passed away leaving Camburn devastated and in a state of depression for the next couple years. She received numerous screenplays and offers to audition for roles despite the fact Camburn hadn't tried to get an agent. It wasn't until 2011 that she decided to get back into the game and began acting again. Camburn was featured in a Virgin Mobile commercial called "Double Date". The spec was directed by Tyler Leisher and shot on July 22, 2011. Since then, Camburn has been accepted into the 2012 Miss California competition and has worked on numerous projects including the sci-fi/ horror "People on the Other Side;"directed by Scott Martin, a parody based on the movie "Drive" called "Deliver" where she plays the role of Irene, and most recently Camburn was featured in Odain Watson's newest music video "Shock and Awe" and has been cast in a starring role for the upcoming 2012 "Deaderfied" series.".
