Tanya's Story
Life
I have spent the last 25 years working in the military, state and federal legislative government, worked outside of government for the civil rights community on behalf of all minorities. Since my departure from Washington, D.C. in 1994, I worked abroad for six years abroad in transitional democracies, most recently in Kosovo, Armenia and Bosnia and Herzegovina and Georgia. uman Rights and graduated in 2007. Presently, I am a Senior Public Affairs Officer for international affairs at Columbia University. I had a media and public affairs company 2001-2006. I am living in New York City with my partner Deborah, who is Canadian. I love New York and could think of no where else in the world to live in the United States. I love to read, watch foreign films, travel, love animals (We have five cats) and I love to be out in nature.
