Tanya's Story

Life I have been married 33 years to Mike Young from Michigan and I have a 31 year old son named Jacob. I met Mike at Barksdale while with friends.He was stationed there 17 years and then we moved to New Mexico. For the last year and a half we have been living in England. Even though we didn't want to come here we are enjoying it. It has been good for his career. He made Chief last year and with that he works a lot more. Even though I am not currently working I stay very busy. I am involved with the Enlisted spouses club, I am the Vice President and I held a board position on the 2004 & 2005 Holiday Bazaar. I never knew that not working I would stay so busy. Jacob is enjoying his time here. His friends next door have a band and they play a lot of shows around England. I think he has been to just about everyone of them. He takes pictures for them. He likes taking pictur...Expand for more
es and videoing. He has been helping them with there site, poserband. They have a cd out and are fixing to go back in the studio. Also since we have been here he has been able to go to a lot of concerts. Bands from the states play at smaller places here. They have been able to meet and hang out with a few of them. The bands like it when there are Americans around. Lets see. Thats is really about it. We haven't been too many places yet. We did make it to Germany for Oktoberfest and had a blast. I am going back this weekend to the Christmas markets. We also made it to Rome and had a great time. IF anybody actually reads this I would love to hear from you. I spend what free time I have on the computer. We are now back in the states. We are in San Antonio. I have been working at Cal-Tex Protective Coatings since April of 2007. As of January 2020 moved back to Louisiana..
