Tanya's Story
After leaving MASH, I attended Edinboro and received my degree in Elementary Education. I married my husband, Christopher Penberthy, in 1993. We moved to Bichester, England and lived there until 1997. While in England, I taught 5th, 6th grade and worked in the Special Ed. department at RAF Croughton (DODDS school).
In 1998, we moved to Fort Walton Beach, Florida. I taught 1st, 2nd grade at St. Mary's. In 2001 my husband and I moved to Wiesbaden, Germany and are cur...Expand for more
rently living here. While living in Germany, we have had two wonderful children, Brandon (7) and Megan (5). I chose to abandon the teaching profession and raise my children and travel. Since my youngest child will enter kindergarten soon, I will persue my career again.
After experiencing European culture, it is difficult for us to leave here. I don't forsee us returning to the United States any time soon!
