Tara's Story
I currently live in St Augustine Fla. I have 2 merchandising companys and a new brand name coming out in about 8 or 9 months, probably nothing anyone who new me would have thought I would have created. I started up my first merchandising business in 1997, and my second one just a year ago. A bit of a late start but I was traveling around playing softball for a number of years and basicly doing nothing else just living from one tournament to the next. Then after my mom passed away I went a little crazy and did some stupid things like consume enough prescription medication in 10 years that probably could have kept a mid size country going for 100 years. So after the fog and feeling sorry for my self I well here it is I found GOD. THats where it stands right now I am part of a ministry that my partner started up to help women who are addicts, and any other problems that effect them in ways where they need help. I work with the addicts, I travel around a little and give lectures, and talk to women and kids about drugs and GOD and how even the best of lifes can go wrong in an instant. I have hurt so many people in my life who cared about me im tring to now give something back and if my story of riches to rags and back again can help just one women it would have all been worth everything I have put myself and my loved ones through. l be coming out in the near future I cant revel the name of the book because Im under gag orders practically not to open my big mouth about the contents of the book. Unfortunelly its not a real pretty story, I found some dark places to crawl into for 12 years so that I would'nt have to deal with life or people. I thank my partner who found me 15 years ago homeless and hungry and took pity on me and invited me into their life and home. In these years since I have met some wonderful people who have also aided in pulling me out of my demons and my descructive ways. One would never realize how many ways there are to try to destroy yourself. As long as they learn there is many ways to destroy but only one way to prosper and come into the light.. That would be through Jesus Christ who died for our sins so long ago. My sins were many and if I could find my way out of them and into GODs glory anyone can, there is probably one thing people who knew me would have said about me and that was that I was a very stubborn and pig headed, very opinionated. There is nothing that GOD can't do if we invite Him in and want to be whole again. I hope anyone reading this gets something out of this or knows someone that it will help, thats why I believe Im still here after everything ive done, and thats to help women who are like I was and bring them back into the light.
