Life
My Spouse
My next door neighbor introduced me to her brother. He was teaching in a city far from mine so we never pursued a relationship. He had graduated from the same college in the same field that I was in. We both dated other people. Then he was cut and moved back to St. Augustine. I was in a relationship at the time, but Scott and I became best friends. Finally, I decided that I did not want to be with the guy I was dating and let the jerk go. Scott and I remained friends. I told him my feelings which he had himself all along and we were inseparable. He is my true love and I am so very lucky.
My Pets
The dog is crazy. A truly special dog for a special ed teacher.
My Job
I teach deaf and hard-of-hearing students. Some have other disabilities besides deafness. The kids are wonderful this year. The pay sucks compared to the amount of work you do at home and at school. I do a lot with the Deaf community besides teaching such as attending events and interpretting at church. I am very happy and feel that this is what God meant for me to do with my life.
