Tara's Story
Life
I am currently living in Memphis, Tennessee. I am single and have no children.
School
I keep in touch with a lot of alumni's from Audubon and Dorsey.
The teachers that inspired me the most were Ms. Bowten, Ms. Richardson and Coach Williams.
If I could do high school all over again, would I? Yes. I enjoyed my high school years.
My happiest memories were at the prom. Most people know that I don't do dresses. So to see the look on folks faces, when I stepped into the venue with a dress on was bananas!! It was priceless.
College
I attended a number of junior colleges while I lived in LA. So I took all the credits I racked up and transferred to Southern Illinois University at Carbon...Expand for more

I majored in and received my BA in Communications (Radio-TV). I am looking to start on my Masters next year.
I also became a member of the most glorious sorority: Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated!!! EEEEEEEEE-YIP!!
Workplace
I have had many jobs from retail to professional. Most people know I worked at Target while I was at Dorsey. I've worked in the Music Industry and in Television. I am currently in Social Work and have been doing that for 8 years. It is one of two passions (the other being tv). My mother tells me that it is my calling. And you know what..........it is.
Military
No military service. But my hat is off to those who have served our country. God Bless You!!
