Tarrah's Story
Life
In August 2003, I married my wonderful husband Bill at Lionscrest Manor in Lyons, Colorado. In 2004 we added a little sweetheart to the familyÂ
.sheÂs our little yellow lab puppy, DixieÂ
and is she ever sweet! We also added a baby girl, Teagan Dayne, in April 2006. She is our precious little girl. I am the Controller at The Canterberry Club (a semi-private golf club in Parker)....it has its perks!! Bill is an Sr. Accounting Manager at First Data Corporation and is the assistant varsity basketball coach at Chaparral High School.
College
I spent five years at The University of Texas in Austin working towards my Bachelors and Masters in Accounting. During my time in Austin, I worked for the Texas Baseball team as an adminstrative assistant in charge of recruiting corresp...Expand for more
ondence. Upon graduation, I moved back to Colorado.
Workplace
Following graduation from college, I began working for Arthur Andersen (where I met my husband the very first day of work). Thanks to Enron, Andersen became a part of KPMG in Denver. After surviving roughly 6 months at KPMG, I was asked by one of my clients to come be their Senior Accountant of Financial Reportint. I loved my 11 months I spent at Expanets but my time was cut short due to Avaya's purchase of my company. I then moved to First Data Corporation and worked as a Senior Financial Analyst. After four months, I moved to our Corporate finance and accounting group and now work with our investor relations and financial reporting groups. My career seems to be always changing. I'm hoping for a little stability!!
