Life Hey all, I've been married since 1977 with 2 daughters and 5 granddaughters! A grandfather at 39! I joined the Army in 1980 as a helicopter turbine engine repairman. From 1980 to 2008 I have been around the world from South Korea, West Germany, Haiti, Afghanistan, Kuwait, and the UAE. I have done things from the US Army rifle team to lifeguard to Information Management Officer. The military saw fit to medically retire me in 2008 so I am finally out of the active military. I am currently a Gov't contractor doing... drum roll...almost the same job I did with the military, scheduled maintenance on whatever helicopter they put in front of us. I think the motorcycle wreck in 2007 put me over the top for cumulative injuries I guess. I did sell a Sportster and traded in the trike to get a 07 HD Ultra "Geezer" Glide due to my Electra Glide being totaled in the wreck. I was kinda lucky after flying 160 ft that I just broke a leg and some ribs. I have 1 Harley, a dirt bike, a pickup truck (issued to me when I moved south!!),and a Jeep. I love being in the wind. I currently live near Raleigh, NC. I spend most of my time off fishing in the pond, working the yard and house and riding the HD's. My oldest daughter has given me 5 beautiful granddaughters and lives near me. My youngest is now out of the Air Force and is living with us. I have applied to go work on helico...Expand for more
