Ted's Story

"I once was lost, but now I'm found. God saved a wretch like me." Thanks to Jesus Christ I have been saved. I was in darkness, but now I walk in the light. I'm a Catholic Christian, and I'm almost back to my old self. For those of you who knew me, I was a good guy, and I still am. I just got on the wrong road and got a little twisted, to say the least. I'll pray for all of you, because you all are dear to me, and you all were my family, at West. We saw each other every day and we had some good times. So God Bless you all and remember through Jesus Christ all things are possible! And God's people said, Amen and Amen. Since graduating from high school I went work for a year as a counter salesman for a tool and scaffolding company at 14th & Santa Fe Dr.,till I quit, after I thought I was discriminated against. I soon entered Trinidad State Jr college, to avoid being drafted, till I dropped out, because I had family problems. Then I entered Colorado University Boulder, where I went for 3 years, till I dropped out, because of family and identity, problems. I majored in Political Science, partying and politics, I soon joined the National Guard Army Special Forces, till I dropped out, because of...Expand for more
lack of adequate medical care, and personal problems. I did finish my military obligation, of three years, back in Colorado, and received an honorable discharge. I worked for the post office for 3 years till I quit, because of personal problems. I tried my hand at construction, till I quit, because of personal reasons. I ran my own moving business for ten years, till I was spiritually, physically, and mentally, bankrupt. I tried my hand at a few other professions but nothing I am, banking on at this time, but are things I can still fall back on, if need be. Now I'm older, and work part time driving commercially, locally preferred. I'm waiting for old age pension but in the meantime,I'm writing a book that I am passionate about, it's about my dear Hispano heritage that originates, from Spain, Mexico, and New Mexico. Love and Peace alway's and forever, your friend and classmate, Ted Medina Jr. Love sweet-T. Sweet-T was a nick name some of the people who new me well at West, called me. To give you an update on my book, it is almost finished. I'm just putting the finishing touches on it, and I hope to get it on the market, by summer, God willing. Good bye, Good Luck, and God Bless again.
