Ted's Story
Life
After Oakridge I went to Laurentian, Western, Queens; taught K-12 plus university in different settings, including Moosonee (K - 12); was executive VP then CEO of Outward Bound USA for 17 years; started an environmental / sustainable community business and consulted in organizational development. I'm semi-retired now as CEO and Board chair of an Ontario based adventure educational organization.
My kids are 33 (with 2 year old twin grandkids...Expand for more
), and 18. I've lived in the US most of the time since 1974, China, Thailand and Indonesia for a slice of time.
I still enjoy all outdoor and wilderness sports with regular canoe, kayak and ski trips. I've been living in St Paul MN for the past 22 years but visit my daughter and grandkids every month in Waterloo area.
My wife and I are looking forward to "empty-nesting" but we're not looking forward to our 18 year old son leaving next year.
