Ted's Story
Life
Grew up in Harvey, when it was "Main Street USA" complete with "Woolworth's" Soda Fountain, Scott's Dime store, A Blue Star Auto, Watson Olds, 2 Bakery Stores (one "Surma's", I wrote a Polka about), etc...
I felt like Harvey was the perfect working class American town. As it began to change however, I couldn't wait to get out & see the world by getting a higher Education.
Now, I'm living in Lexington Ky, I have 4 bands, Run an In School Suspension program & I have a blast. ...Expand for more
Got a great wife, two kids, (son/22, daughter 21) & a great life.
College
At Murray, my coolest roommate was and always be ol' Jack Carliisle! He taught me how to be a "Country Boy" We loved being on the football team together at Murray State, dodging ol' Coach Oakley's "Kicks in the shins" and going fishin' and huntin'. It was pretty fun when all of us on the football team in 74' went "streaking"! Too many more memories to mention here except meeting the girl who's my wife now!
