Life... Life? I'd have to admit that is is quite different than than I would have ever imagined it to be - all those years ago. Funny how that happens! All in all I'd have to say that life has been pretty good to me. Ups and downs for sure - but there have been good friends and good times to keep things rolling in the right direction even in the low spots. I lost my best friend of 20 years several years back which was really difficult. That definitely took some lengthy recovery time. How life changing things like that can be. We were all set to grow old together...but that wasn't in the cards. I was fortunate to have had him in my life. He was the greatest friend and I miss him still! I have a job that I thoroughly enjoy, two boys (young men) off on their own now. My oldest is married and lives just down the road from me. My youngest, the adverturer it seems, is happily living in the PNW. They both turned out well (in spite of being raised by a single parent). I'm still living the rural life in a place of my own with a little ground and several spoiled pets. What more could I want? I'm hopeful that I can reco...Expand for more
