Hello all! Well, after high school, I attended Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio, while working part time for Ohio Bell. Transferred to Ohio Bell/AT&T, downtown Columbus, where I interned for 2 years while attending Ohio State. And by the way, never attended school only part-time, it takes forever to get that degree :). Met my ex-husband and transferred with AT&T to Phoenix, AZ, so he could attend ASU for 2 years. Finally received my bachelors (whoosh!) in Business Management. After 2 years in Arizona, accepted a mgmt. position with AT&T in Basking Ridge, NJ, so my ex could attend Parsons School of Design in NYC. My ex was awarded a scholarship for his masters to Domus Academy in Milano, Italy. I was lucky enough to transfer with AT&T, and worked for AT&T Italia S.p.A for 4 years. What an experience! We travelled all over Europe and made so many new friends who I stay in contact with. Towards the end of our time there, became pregant with our first, Meta, and flew back to Ohio at 9 months pregnant. My Italian dr. forged the paperwork so I could fly. It wasn't comfortable at all! My ex-husband wanted to stay in Milano and work, but unfortunately, my older brother, Don, had a terminal illness and I wanted to be back in the states to spend time with him. We settled in Hilliard, Ohio where he commuted to the University of Cincinnati for a year or so. I FINALLY quit and became at an home Mom. YEAH! Don't worry, I kept busy because I could never be bored. My ex interviewed for other jobs around the country and accepted a position teaching at Notre Dame. I was thrilled because it was still close enough to Ohio to drive back. The following year I became pregnant with our 2nd, Elias (Eli).
