Teresa's Story
Life
We have lived in Dewey Arizona for 17 years and love it up here. The Prescott area is the perfect part of Arizona!! My husband of 30 years, Gary, is the general manager of Tim's Toyota Center in Prescott Valley.
I am now a retired special education teacher. I was a stay at home mom for 18 years and went back to work when my son was a senior in high school. I attended GCC, ASU (BA in Elem Ed and Special Ed), Univ of Houston and NAU.
My sister, Judy, still lives in Glendale, as did my late brother Mike. My younger sisters, Jennifer, lives in Oklahoma and Marcia lives in Buckeye. My parents live next door to us and are healthy and active in their late 80's.
My daughter, Kelli is 28 and is a veterinarian on the west side of Phoenix. If you need a vet, look for Dr. Kelli Spiker-Evans in the North Buckeye Anim...Expand for more
al Clinic on Watson Road! She is married to a fellow vet. (Chris Snodgrass is their boss!) My son is 26 and is TSgt in the Air Force. In 2006, he was the Battlefield Weather NCO of the Year and a pictorial display of him perfoming his duties was hanging in the Pentagon. He was in combat weather attached to a Stryker Brigade out of Fort Lewis Washington. He was in Iraq supporting the 1st Cav Unit also, until Dec. 07, where he was inducted into the Order of the Golden Spurs. He is stationed at Luke, and was deployed for the third time to Iraq, where he was a meteorologist supporting the F 16 pilots over there. He returned safe and sound at the end of summer.
I still keep in touch with a few Glendale grads. Dianna Jarrell (Rovey) and I are good friends, our kids grew up together in Buckeye and are still very close.
