Life
I kind of did life in reverse, got married, had children, got divorced, got remarried had another child, divorced, now have let my second husband move back in (now that his mid life crisis is over :) ) and finally finished college (for now, ya never know when you might be stung by the learning bug lol). Oh well, the best laid plans don't always seem to work out. Life happens. I have three children, Katie, 22, Samantha, 16, and Daniel, 8, and soon will be adopting Kirsten, 5. I also have two grandsons, Kody, 2, and Dylan, 1. They keep my life a little crazy, in a good way. I love having children. ...Expand for more
They make you realize what really counts in life.
I'm a Registered Nurse in an ER and I LOVE my job. Seriously! How many people get to say that they love their jobs?! 85% entertainment, 10% life and death where I can make a serious difference in someone's life, and 5% heart break. Kind of like life. You never know what's going to come through the doors. And sometimes what comes through the door is someone that by every reason, shouldn't have lived, but did, and has come back to give you a hug, a handshake, and sometimes share a tear. Aside from when my children were born, there is no better feeling.
