Life
I just recently got married in 2004 to Troy Roach on Halloween Oct. 31. My daughter Alexandria (Andria) from my first marriage is 15 and will be a sophomore at Hixson High School. She plays soccer for Hixson High and was awarded MVP in 2005 as a freshman player. I currently am a housewife and help the girls soccer team with fundraising and the concession stand during the girls season. My daughter and I also travel with Redout Lady Generals 91' during club select ball season to tournaments out of state. Well it's now 2007 and my Daughter is a Junior at Hixson High and I can't believe she will be a senior next year ...she will be graduating very soon! I only have the one child but, she is on the National Honor Roll and she joined the HHS Girls bowling team and she is a starter. She also went to Europe with the People to People program this past summer (2007) and they were gone for 20 days. She visited Rome, Italy Greece,Venice, Switzerland, Paris,France, and Austria. ack more appreciative of what we have here in the US and more mature than before she left. I would recommend this adventure and program very highly to any parent if your child gets nominated for it. They usually nominate honor roll students and they choose 3 to 4 students from each school including private schools to be a part of the program and be an Ambassador. The program was started by President Eisenhower many years ago and your child receives a High school credit and college credit for going on the trip too! My husband and I celebrated our 3RD year anniversary this past Halloween at the Bald-headed Bistro in Cleveland and the food was fantastic! The restaurant is a little pricey but, worth the money because of their great food and desserts. I'm still involved with volunteeer work at HHS with the soccer team and I got Coca Cola to give us a new Score Board for the Soccer field this year and we build two dugouts for soccer team which has improved the looks of the field greatly.
