Teresa's Story
Life
I've been married to my high school sweetheart, Jerry for what will be 30 years this June 2008, happily I might add. We have 4 children, Amy is now 30 and had our first Granddaughter on the 12th of December of 2000. She is the HOSA teacher at one of the High Schools here in El Paso . She had her second daughter the 27th of June, 2006 and baby Jada on Feburary 21st of this year, 2008. Jerry the III, is now married to Gracie, they have a baby, Marisa born on the 16th of November, 07 , and Jerry Paul Martin IV who will be 3 on July 8th, 2008. Jerry is an employee of Yates Petroleum, they live in Artesia, New Mexico. Craig, our 3rd child, will be 25 in August. He is also married to Tiffany and they have 2 children, Alexyss was 6 in May, and Aiden turned 3 in November, and baby Bella born on the 8th of Nov 08. Craig is currently serving in the United States Army, and stationed at Ft Wainewright, Alaska. His whole family is there with him, so Jerry and I have been very blessed having had our first trip to Alaska this past summer of 08 to visit them. rrently serving in Iraq. Chris is our youngest,he turned 19 in April, 08. He's a Sophmore at New Mexico State University and is very active with school, family and is in a ministry group. He's a great blessing in our lives as are all of our children and grandchildren. As for my husband Jerry, he retired from the Army in 1998, here in El Paso, and has been employeed as the Director of Recruitment for a technical school in El Paso. As for myself, I have a home owned business which I have run for 6 years now, of which I love as it allows me to put in as much or as little time as I need to, of course depending on how much income I want to make. I've never been in it to get rich, just to contribute where I could. This is our first year with an empty next, so Jerry and I are very excited to venture into our new transition. As you can see, God has blessed us in abundance with our family, and with his never ending presence at the head of our family. After the 20 years in the military of moving from place to place, we seem to have made a home here in El Paso, so for as long as God wants us here, here we are.
