Teresa's Story
Life
I have 2 wonderful teenagers. Carl, 17 and Kit, 15. I am also married to a wonderful man, Todd, who is the best thing that ever happened to me. We've been married for 7 wonderful years and there is no end in sight. I have 2 pets, a pomeranian and a hybrid cat (who is actually bigger than the dog). I'm living in Texas and my life has turned out better than I anticipated.
School
Don't have too much to say about high school. I had a great time and met interesting people. Although, I did want to get done with it and move on to my life. I did, however, meet my ex-husband there. Go figure that .....
College
College was a rush. My first degree is in Computer Science and my second degree is in Business Administration in Information Systems. I think that during school I took every computer class known to man. I did meet a wonderful gu...Expand for more
y who has become a life-long friend. He has become close to me, my husband, and my children. I remember we did a lot of drinking.... what a blast!
Workplace
I currently work as the Information Technology Manager for the Alamos Workforce Career centers. I handle 5 major sites and 4 satellites. It's challenging work but I enjoy what I do. It keeps me very, very busy. In addition to this title, I am also the Inventory Manager for these sites so I pretty much run around all the time. I write policies and procedures, control inventory, manage IT operations.... what else can i say... I jump through hoops but I manage to get everything done.
Military
I served 2 and 1/2 years in the United States Army in Military Intelligence. I loved it. I was a lifer until I got hurt and had brain surgery. But, life is what it is and you have to move on.
