Teresa's Story
Life
I met Jimmy in Sept 74 and we married in November that same year. I started working at MS State Penitentiary when I turned 18 and worked there 2-1/2 years before going to work in the private sector.
I have 2 children - a daughter born in 81 and a son born in 85. I have seven grandchildren.
I went to work in a public school system in 1989 and have basically been doing that ever since. I am currently a bookkeeper for a public school district in Mississippi.
I continue to love to travel. Have been fortunate enough to go to Japan twice so far, blessed to go to Mexico on 3 mission trips and looking forward to more. Hopefully Honduras or Belize. Have travelled to Montana several times, too, to visit my daughter while they were stationed there.

born in 2003 in Japan to my daughter who was in the service was my first. Then came Kayla, Little Michael, Lena, Savanah, Dylan and last, but not least, Layla-Brooke.
Have finally become a certified SCUBA diver and am a member of a county dive team. Am planning on going to the Bahamas in the next couple of years just to do some diving.
I love to ride motorcycles now, although it took a while for me to get back on one after one of my closest friends, Tommy Marler, died on September 13, 1974.
I am an avid photographer. I have done several weddings and senior portraits for family and friends, but my love is landscapes - especially in the mountains - and wildlife.
I love to sing!!! I sing at churches in my area and have had the privilege of singing at a couple of weddings, too.
