Teresa's Story
Life
Married to Dan McBee (he was from Norris). Retired from TVA in January 2007. Live in Norris. Have 3 kids: Scott McBee is 32 years old (Dan's by his first marriage), he lives in Knoxville and has his own business. Chad Crowley is 27 years old (mine by my first marriage) now serving in Iraq with the US Army but he and his wife Heather Manley Crowley get to live in Hawaii (how horrible), and Kristi McBee is 23 years old (ours). . She is out in the working world now as a counselor. We now have a grandson, Bryson McBee. He was born Dec. 22, 2000.
Workplace
Started out as a receptionist in Oak Ridge. Then went to work at Union Peoples Bank as a bookkeeper. Next I got offered twice the pay to work for TVA and I got to wear blue jeans, t-shirts, and tennis shoes---what a ride I had there. Loved it for 26 years. Retired at age 50 and loving every minute of it.....bought myself a 86 corvette for my retirement gift.
