Teresa's Story
What would surprise them? I really don't know. Sometimes I think my classmates knew me better back then than I knew myself! I have 8 children...than usually surprises people.
I saw Coach Brehm a few years back at Country Jam. He looks the same...talks the same.
I think I got wilder with age. I have been known to dance on a table top or two in front of my kids. You just never know what will happen when I'm around.
My first crush? Gosh, he is now the owner of a huge car dealership and is friends with one of my client's daughter. It is wierd seeing him on television comercials! He looks so OLD! haha
I hope my old friends remember me as a person who cared about everyone. I was very lonely in high school. My brother had just died, and my relationship with my parents was trying. I did not feel a part of any group of friends, but everyone knew me. I didn't like who I was in high school, but I believe I cared about everyone.
To be truely happy, I would be with my family just hanging out playing games. We have so much fun camping and fishing, or cooking on the campfire. Something simple with my family.

s how hard life has been. I truely thought that if you worked hard and made good choices, you would coast along in life without too many bumps in the road. Whoa! Not so! Life is hard, and it's how you take those bumps that define who you are.
If I got one do-over, I would have spent more time taking care of myself when the children were little. At the time, it felt selfesh to spend time on self care, but now, I think that the care you give yourself is reflective back to the children. Kind of like, "When Mama is happy....Everyone is happy!"
The weirdest job I've ever had would have to be at the comercial dairy I worked at before going to nursing school. I spent half my time with my hand up a cow's rectum! Well, at least my hand stayed warm...haha
I have lived, after graduation from HS, in LaCrosse, then I married and live in LaCrescent, MN. We sold that farm and moved to Dakota, MN in the hopes of building a 400 cow enterprise. Well, that dream fell apart and I moved to Elk Mound, and have lived here ever since. I have dreams of moving to Alaska for half a year, or even to do mission work in Africa. We will see what life brings!
