Teresa's Story

Lived:Southern California; Northeastern Oklahoma.
Work:child care & adult care;cleaning houses;maid;waitress;factory work;over the road semi driver;done some volunteer work; drive & deliver meals,run errands,medicine pick-up & deliveries,take people to doctor/hospital appointments,etc. for seniors & those that are ill.
Spent 8yrs with an abusive man,yep married him too,learned from
it,divorced.Enough said.
Have a son,born in 1979.Love him dearly, even on his bad days,lol,which can be all the time.He has learning disabilities & a few other problems.
Homeschooled him after 2nd grade.
He's excellent with computers, has spent alot of time helping others with their computer & internet service problems over the years,even if it took 3 days or more with little sleep to help a person out.
He's ok with car work but computers is his best thing.
Luv to spend time with my best friend.He's a great guy & so freakin' funny.Glad we have alot of the same interests.
2009 we bought a new car,it's a great car,hope to be back to site seeing again soon & some traveling.
I still sometimes do crafts.
Mainly i spend time doing family genealogy,which i haven't much done since around the time my dad got sick & died.
We will be moving into our house soon,after we get all settled in i will hopefully get back to genealogy full time & go hunting family tombstones again,there are some really nice & unusual ones out there.
When i can i like to drive around & look at things when i have the time.Otherwise i'm surfing the web & talking with family & friends.
My brother:1 wife of 22 yrs,never married,no children (she had 1 daughter with her ex husband).
He retired from work in 2007.
He's still nice looking & still sing...Expand for more

My sister:2 divorces,2 children with the 2nd husband,her oldest son has Autism,her 2nd son has a son born with slight brain damage,also has learning disabilities & Autism.
She has been with the same boyfriend for over 14 years.
Mom:doesn't walk very well anymore so she's at home alot,she likes to go eat out several times a month,likes to watch food shows.Caretaker for her since 2003.
Mom started having the house worked on in early 2007,had alot of improvements done & new things installed,including removing old trees/shrubs,etc.
Almost every person she had do work for her including 1 neighbor that she 1st hired (he took stuff 3x's) took tools from the garage or exchanged their broken tools for her good ones.It's a shame that you have to actually stand over people to keep them honest & even at that you can blink & something is gone.She's been pretty much cleaned out of all the tools that my dad had,over $2,000 worth,poof,gone,so there isn't much left.
2007-2008 I had several of my family members die.My dad (old age & cancer),my dad's sister (cancer),my mom's sister(cancer)& ex mother in law(dementia).Almost lost my dad's brother (prostate cancer)& his wife (had her 3rd battle with cancer).
2008 Was a BUMMER of a year in alot of ways.
2009 Started out with us being ill for the first 3 months,as it was getting better,it turned into HELL.
I had a bad reaction to some new medication i was given,they kept me on it,so i took myself off it after 7 months & told them to get me something else to try.
2010 Needless to say i am still recovering from that previous medicine they gave me,i may never fully recover from the damage it caused.
