Teresa's Story
Was widowed at 27 with two small kids, kids grew up and lost my daughter at 17. I Remarried. My Son is grown and has a daughter, she is the light of my life and will be turning 6. I have a small 23 acre farm here in south central Mo. I raise sheep and spin there wool to make yarn and kint my winter socks and sweaters. Yep I was born to late. LOL. I have dogs and chickens and a beef calf. Got my first tattoo LOL Husband forbid me to get one so you guessed I had to run right out and get me one of those across my foot and ankle. LOL Still strong headed just like when I was a kid. Went on my first vacation alone this summer and it was great. Drove down to the gulf coast of Lake Aurther La. and just drove around and played tourist by myself. Went horseback ridding, ate alot fo cajin food YUMMY , ...Expand for more
swamp rides, historical towns and museums, fine art museums, shoping. stayed a week. Man I have to do that again!! Love country music and bluegrass. The Ozarks are home to major bluegrass music so I go to alot of jamborees on the weekends. Great people to hang out with. In Aug. there is a bluegrass fest in Eminence, Missouri. the 17, 18, 19, and 20th. 2011 Camping there the four days with some gals and going to have a blast. My husband is a die hard 70's rock and roll fan, and hates camping LOL so no music in our house or in the car when were both home :) to funny. Still love, fishing, camping, gardening, canning my garden produce, preping the pantry, hunting, ridding horses, raising my own food, beef, pork, chicken, lamb. Just a country gal at heart, tho I still like my high heals and pearls
