Life After M&A,I went to Fairleigh Dickinson University, where I met my future husband. After College, I entered a Master's degree program in Urban Planning at Hunter College, CUNY. While studying for my Master's degree, I took the law boards. The following year, I entered Brooklyn Law school as part of a dual degree program. I completed both my Master's and Law degrees in 1985, and married that summer. I passed the Bar exam that year, and worked for several years as an attorney with the New York State Urban Develpoment Corporation. My husband and I moved to New Jersey in 1987, and in 1988, I took a job with the New Jersey Office of State Planning as a planner. I was part of a team that developed New Jersey's first statewide growth management plan. I continued to work for the State of New Jersey afetr the birth of my son in 1990, and after the birth of my daughter in 1993.
