Terra's Story
Growing up! What a crazy thing! Just took a cruise thru some of the pictures of classmates (from itty-bitty & beyond) How we've grown, yet remain the same. I've heard we are "ourselves" by age 12. What happens from there is simply a collection of life experiences. Hope you all are well!
My life seems to be on a 5 year plan. As in, life just happens to change every 5 years (jobs included). I went to school for an Automotive Technology degree and worked for Chrysler Corporate with a 100% traveling job about the states. Super crazy and massively fun -- and a total challenge. Picture a decent looking chick, straight from college - waltzing into a dealership where the owner has been in business longer than I've been alive. And I'd proceed to tell them that I'm shutting down and revamping their entire service shop!?! I'll tell ya- you learn a lot and FAST. Super respect builder and knowledge challenger. sale manager and store manager for a local catalog company. Most fun part - a trip to Hong Kong for a buying convention! 5 years later, after spongeing up every ability I could learn....I veered into the lovely world of Edumacation. (Education) and now work for the SM school system. Almost back home! Imagine that.
Personally, marriage #1 walked out and left me free to find my strengths again and the love of my life (marriage #2) Life's path is always leading you in the direction you're supposed to go...if you have a little faith and steadily trod thru the hard times. I continue to love every critter I can get my hands on -- we currently have 10 pets and a crapload of goldfish. Everyone needs a little "gold" in their lives. I drive every chance I get and love motorcycles and gardening (what a combo!)
Curiosity keeps me wondering how all of those familiar names from school days past are fareing...Happiness keeps me waking up every day.
