Terrance's Story
Six days after graduation I was on active duty in the US Air Force (a move some of my classmates thought was a huge mistake!) While at Seymour Johnson AFB in NC I met and married the most wonderful women I have ever met (1980). She was also in the Air Force and we both made a career of it. I retired from active duty in 1999 and Ann retired in 2000. Our beautiful daughter Amilia is currently in the Air Force and works in the ICU at Nellis AFB NV (which is a great excuse for us to visit her in Vegas!!!)
During my time in the AF I had the opportunity to travel all over the world ...Expand for more
and see some pretty incredible things some spectacular and some devastating, but I wouldn't trade my service for anything in the world.
My wife and I still serve as civilians in DoD and are in charge of different sections responsible for training the young men and women who join our Air Force on the intricicies of current computer and cyber system technologies.
We share our house with our two dogs and are enjoying life to the fullest!
And one of these days I may even figure out how Ann has put up with me all of these years....then again, some things are better left unanswered!!!
