Terri's Story
Life (updated a little 05/09)
I am living in Columbia Md experiencing Empty Nest with my husband of 31 years, John. My children, Greg and Debbie are now on their own. My son is in management for Stryker Corporation and my daughter is still exploring different avenues of her art degree, but is probably going to settle into the graphics design field since there is a living to be made there, albeit kicking and screaming. Maybe not. She keeps us guessing. I managed a Yoga Center of 1,200 students and 12 instructors, but recently decided to retire and have fun while we are still young and active. Of course I have the advantage that my husband is still working so I get best of both worlds. Friends told me it was like high school only with money and they were right! nd have enjoyed Europe, Asia, the Carribean... We have moved quite a bit, living in Ohio, Florida, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Maryland. That is more than I moved with my Air Force parents. We may be returning to Cincinnati in the next year, my husband's home, and where this whole crazy wonderful life began. We are all happy and healthy at this time. We had a brief scare when my husband had bypass surgery, but now he's better than ever. Kids have the stress of new careers, but they will get there. When I receive these classmates.com e-mails I enjoy thinking back. I had the pleasure of communicating with Dale Russell in the past year or so and it was nice to catch up. Otherwise, I haven't been in touch with too many people, since I haven't upgraded this membership. It is nice to see everyone's name and think back.
