Terri's Story
Hi Everyone!
Following graduation I quickly left home, got married, began working and had a child. A decade later I divorced then moved through a couple 'more rewarding' relationships. I spent time living in South Carolina, Indiana, and Colorado before returning to Ohio. In 2000 I had the great luck to re-connect with an old friend from high school, and in 2002 I married Tom Balser, also a 1972 Madison graduate. We now live in west-central Florida and LOVE IT here! Tom is retired and enjoys working on antique cars. We have a 1966 Ford Mustang coupe (exactly like the one Tom had in HS), and have just begun to restore a 1968 Ford Torino. When completed it will look just like the car I took my driver's test in. Hah! I still remember the driver's testing office on Rt. 430 and driving through the neighborhood around the HS to pass my test.
Regarding family, I have one son, and two grandsons, two step-daughters, and one step-grand-daughter. Tom's younger daughter attends college in Florida but the others are still living in Ohio.
Professionally I have worked as a Psychiatric/Mental Health RN for 25 years. I have a Masters degree in Nursing and Health Administration, and am certified in psych/mental health nursing, and as an addictions nurse. I am currently working at the VA Hospital in Tampa as the triage nurse in the mental health clinic.

Tom's story,
After graduation I stayed in Mansfield for a few years , working at Therm o disc , then Ohio Brass , after the brass shut down , I headed for Florida for a couple years came back to Ohio settled in the Lancaster area working at Liebert Corp , but , my real love was stock car racing , I raced late model dirt track in southern Ohio , West Virgina , and Penn , for several years , One of my most treasured memories is racing with and being able to call Tim Richmond my friend , a true racer that left this earth way to soon ,
After being hurt in race cars and around race cars I retired in 1999 I left a troubled marriage in 2000 returning to Mansfield to regroup , there I found Terri Cavin , we had been friends for years , running into one another from time to time so there was no BS we knew each other , and our love blossomed from there ,
Now we are in Florida and love it !! I restore old cars , if you could see my garage you would find a 1966 Mustang , , a 1968 torino , and a 1939 ford , plus other assorted tid bits , we have been able to win many trophy's with the mustang , and show it often ,
Its good to see so many of you still kicking , we hope to see you all at the next reunion.
