Terri's Story

Well, one month after graduation, I moved to Denver, Colorado and have been here 30 years now. I LOVE it!! It's a beautiful state and I feel very lucky to live in such a great place. I'm happily living with my sweetheart of 3 years, Scott, who at 41+ is a wee bit younger, but if it's okay for men to date younger...why can't women? I managed to raise my son, Shaun, totally on my own for 18 yrs - he's 19 now, lives on his own and will be attending school to become a Pediatric RN - I'm very proud and excited for him. Although I grew up in Oswego and Fulton, NY, after 30 years, Colorado is my true home. Scott and I live in Englewood, CO and the light rail station is right outside our front door - we can be downtown in 15 minutes! Very cool! I work full-time as a bookkeeper for a Roofing Company who specializes in insurance remediation. It's a fun place to work is NOT a corporate atomosphere - ver...Expand for more
y casual and laid back - no punching a time clock here! Prior to that I worked in the Real Estate Development business and have been studying to get my Broker's License. Before the RE gigs, I spent 15 years working for Siemens in a corporate office and hated every minute of it, but did manage to earn a pension there! I've been lucky enough to have the same best friend for the last 30 years ~ Kelly holds many of my memories of the "good old days" and is one of those true blue friends everyone wishes they had! My favorite color is purple and I LOVE the Broncos and Colorado Rockies - win or lose and I miss John Elway!!! So that's it, 30 years in summary! I'd love to hear from anyone who remembers me! Although I graduated from Fulton (G Ray Bodley), my roots go back to Oswego! I went to Fulton for my Junior and Senior years of High School after my parents divorced and my mom moved to Colorado.
