Terri's Story

I recently (12-18-21) lost my Soulmate & Amazing husband Michael Richards. He was my best friend, my partner and my traveling companion. The loss has left me heartbroken and lonely! We knew each other for 3 years before getting married in 1991. We were lucky enough to spend 16 years traveling the US, with Mr. Weber (of US History fame. Also many countries in Europe. We could not afford it but we made it work. (Thank goodness for credit cards). They were always paid off before the next trip rolled around. Mike and I enjoyed attending Every sporting event, band concerts, swimming meets and anything else you could be a spectator for our Grandkids. My oldest daughter, Vicki, is married, and works for Umpqua Bank. She has almost raised 4 children. 3 boys and a girl. They are all out of high school except for her daughter, Kendall (who is an Awesome soccer player) and a Senior at Rex Putnam H.S. Their oldest son, Cameron is in working in Aeronautics in the Air Force and is stationed in New Mexico. The second oldest son, Connor graduated in 2020 from high school. He is working for a landscaping company and is going to college at CCC in the Fall. The youngest son, Cole graduated this year from Rex Putnam. He will be attending CCC in the Fall. They are growing up way too fast! I do love being a Grandma!! My middle daughter, Kristi, is married, works at Wolfer's in Wilsonville and lives in Molalla. They have 2 four legged grandkids. They have no children but enjoy raising their two labs. My youngest daughter, Staci, is married and works as a Project Coordinator for Trubeck Construction. Her daughters are 14 months apart. Raegan is almost 9 and going into third grade at Trillium Creek Elementary. (Another upcoming good soccer player). Ellie is almost 8 and is going in...Expand for more
to second grade. She enjoys playing softball. There is never a dull moment at their house. It is great being able to see them grow and flourish. Mike and I did a lot of traveling with several groups of Wonderful people. One of which is lead by Gery Weber (of US History fame). We have seen every bloody battle field, museum and every visitor center across the United States. I learned all the things he tried to teach us in High School and payed attention this time. We even ventured across the Pond last year to Ireland, Scotland and London. Also visiting Italy, Prague, Belgium, Amsterdam, Switzerland, Poland, Germany and Budapest We have seen many sights and have lots of great memories! Each one is an adventure. I intend on traveling with a friend for Mike. Mike and I enjoyed spending time with our family. He treated my girls like his own. The Grandkids we're all his! My brother, Pat, still lives in our childhood home. I see him when he needs a haircut and most major Holidays. He is an avid golfer. He belongs to Arrowhead Golf Club. The golf course where Howard Fisher his wife Marcia and family bought. It is hard to imagine that we are really this age. I feel like high school was just a few years ago. I see Patti Wright, Valerie Bloye, Marcia Shirley, Marialana McGinnis, Nancy Leach, occasionally Debbie Mishler, Denise Koch & Peggy Albritton. on a monthly basis for "Girlfriend Night". We enjoy a drink & dinner as well as laughing, and reminiscing about old times. I think it keeps us young. So we will keep it up. What ever it takes, right? I hope to see you all at The Class as of 70 Turns 70 Reunion! To be held at Arrowhead Golf Course on Saturday September 17th, at 6:30. It is very casual with a no-host bar and appetizers.
