Terri's Story
After High school I went to work, I worked several different places and ended up at a Japanese plant named Ikeda making car interior.
I met my husband Doug in '89 and got married in '92. We have 2 boys Bryan and Andy. Bryan is 13 and in the 7th grade this year, Andy is 10 and in the 4th grade. I stopped working and became a full time mom and housewife after Bryan was born. A feww years ago I started cleaning for other people a few days a week while the boys are in school.
We lived in Covington for about 7 years, but moved back to Piqua the year Bryan began kindergarten and have been here ever since. We recently moved to a different area of Piqua last Fall ad are loving it here.
I became a Christian in 2000, during a convention for MOPS (Mothers Of Pre-Scholers). I then started...Expand for more
attending the church which sponsored that program in Piqua -Upper Valley Community Church. I later became the coordinator of the local MOPS program. I am so thankful for our church and how it reached out to the 'lost' (trust me I was sooo lost!) Now I love our church and serve in many ways, I'm part of our Women's Ministry board, I attend the women's Bible study once a week, help organize and run our Vacation Bible Adventure (aka Bible school),and occasionally play the drums in our praise and worship band. I love to play the drums!!!
So I'd say my life hasn't turned out anything like I would have assumed it would if You were to ask me way back in 1987, but I love the life, family and friends God has blessed me with,and am looking forward to serving Him for the rest of my life.
