icago's high school program and received 1st place awards at many local town art fairs. i studied art at the university of arizona in 1973 and the american academy of art in chicago in 1976. i have worked in acrylics, stained glass, fused glass, ceramics, weaving and jewelry. i also worked in catering in chicago, got married moved around the u.s. and canada and finally settled in scottsdale, az. i divorced and opened my store two plates full in 1989. originally it was a kitchen store which soon turned into a handcraft gallery, it's seems that all the funky colorful pieces i was buying for myself sold faster then the kitchen items and here i am 19 years later...time flies when you're having fun and raising two special kids by yourself....still buying funky, colorful and whimsical american handcraft.".
