Terri's Story
So since 1988, what has happened in the life of Terri L Whitekettle...... lets see, I got married out of high school, which lasted about two and a half years, I have no bitter feelings regarding this, we had seperate paths to follow, and I would consider him a friend. And it only took me ten more years to marry again. My husband is an awesome guy who loves me for me. Between then and now, I did what I could in my twenties to make every wrong decision I could, which is now working well for me, as I have never been one to make the same mistakes twice. In 1992 I moved down to the south of Florida, worked at a couple of country clubs, took up with a couple of wrong men, and some how ended up in Massachutes. I stayed exactly on year there - literary June 6th to June 6th - and based on the fact that the dates stuck with me, tells you how much I absolutely hated it, moved there, again for the wrong guy. I got back home, and have been here ever since. My father past away in 1998, which was a very hard thing for me, for those of you who know me, you know that ...Expand for more
my father was my rock, and I will forever miss his support. Now I am happily married, and when I say happily, I don't mean the fairy tale version, I mean the we have good days and bad days, and we have learned how to fight without inflicting so much damage that neither of us could recover, happy marriage. I am still in Orlando, still working (damn lottery numbers!) no children, but having fun with working at it .. wink * wink... and happy. To date I have learned this, no one ever takes your word on the fact that the pot is hot, it is always something they have to learn for themselves. Therefore, I waste no amount of breath on advise, unless it is asked for. And then, no matter how much the truth hurts, that's what I give. I still laugh at the simplest things, and I still act 16 when I hang with my girlfriends. My goals are to have lots of people at my funeral some day, cause then I will know that the impact I made on other people was a good one, and I will be missed. Not because I was a "good worker" but because I was a good friend, and a good person.
