Terri's Story
Life
Time foe an update - I mean, it's only been 8 years since I put my story up. Hmmm - where to start? Well, I did get the permanent administrative assistant to the police chief position and am on my 3rd chief. Still way too many things in my job class to be able to say what exactly it is I do, but as I was having a mini meltdown the other day, one of my employees told me that I'm "amazing and no one else here could do what you do, and the department would not operate if you weren't here." Don't know if that's exactly true, but the "department shutting down if I'm not there" part feels true. So, that's work.

my husband. It's all good though, the kids are good with it and we are all much happier, more relaxed, and getting along fine.
The kids - Nick is starting high school this year and he's really a great kid. He runs cross country and track, and if he keeps growing he'll have to take up basketball (very hard for me this summer when he finally got taller than me). Caitlyn is 9 and very into dance. She's had a hard time finding her "thing", but she really seems to enjoy ballet and would like to take another class this year. Me, I run, I swim, I did my first triathlon this summer, and I take karate. All things that anyone who knew way back when would have never expected of me.
So, that's me now!
