"I am destined to become a STAR." This is what I told myself when I graduated from AHS in 1979. I confidently marched off to Western Washington U in search of my dream. I graduated with a BA in Theatre, having had my share of fabulous roles throughout my school tenure. Still convinced stardom was awaiting, I applied for and was accepted into the MFA in Musical Theatre program at UC/Irvine. REALITY CHECK. This industry isn't about talent, about work ethic, about commitment! This industry is about looks and connections, seeing and being seen.
