Terri's Story
Life
I married Anthony Salvucci. I live and work in Philadelphia. I have three children. I just finished my master's degree in Administrative Education. My husband passed away suddenly on November 28, 2006.
School
I don't think that I would do it over again. My favorite part of high school was playing softball and winning the season. Mr. P. was my favorite teacher and mentor. I guess that is why I am a math leader. I wouldn't go back because I was extremely shy and that was perceived as "stuck up."
College

Chester University for Elementary Education and a math concentration. In April I will receive my Masters Degree in Administrative Education.
Workplace
I work in the Philadelphia School District as a School Based Math Leader. I love my job. I train teachers on new math strategies, work with small groups of children, and teach 8th grade Algebra. I am also a big service learning advocate. I started the North Region Service Learning Teacher Network. This is our second year and the district has asked us to add the Center City Region.
