Terri's Story
After high school, I went to FSU for four years. Actually got my BS degree in Leisure Services (no pun intended). Joined ROTC because I wanted to learn how to repel down a mountainside. Ended up going active duty for three years as a platoon leader for a transportation company that supported the Rangers. (Yeah I don't see the connection either.) Got out and moved to California with my fiance to help his uncle build homes. He got his General Contractors license and we went out on our own building homes for 13 years. With two daughters to take care of I decided to apply for my own GC license to complete houses already under construction which I continue to do today. Not really what I pictured myself doing at this point in my life but it is interesting and challenging (especially in today's economy). In the mean time one thing my friends in high school might be surprised to learn is that I am a Black Belt in Isshinryu Karate. Been taking it for seven years now. But my most exciting, challenging and most favorite accomplishment is raising my two girls. They're my everything.
