Terrina's Story
Life
I have the cutest Japanese Chin. She is so sweet and never barks.
In my spare time I make lap blankets for wounded soldiers. I am happy to report my son made it back stateside safely and has separated from the Army after 4 nervewracking years. As a single mom who lost American Airline friends on 9-11-2001,then had my only son graduate boot camp on Sept.13,2001, I decided to finally retire in Dec. of that year. I do believe I gathered most of my gray hair while he was gone.I thank the good Lord for bringing him back as an awesome young man.Can you tell how proud I am...Expand for more
of my son? Never knew how hard it was to be a military mom even though I was an Air Force brat yet I am awed by the man he has become. My father would be so proud of this grandson he never got to meet. Some of you remember "Bear" as you used to call him
when he chased you with the water hose when you TP'd our house. haha
Those were the days and very fond memories.
Anyone interested in helping make blankets for our soldiers or adopting soldiers who have no family to write to ,please let me know.We need all the help we can get.Take care, support our troops and God Bless The USA!!
