Terry's Story
Hello, Terry Adams here. Has it really been 50 years since West Covina High School? Jim Hibbs and I jumped the fence and walked around the track about 15 years ago. It was no longer WCHS, but felt the same.
My story as I remember it, I graduated from Humboldt State College, and landed a job at UCLA Med Center as a Heart Lung Machine Technician. I moved to northern California in 1974 and continued the same work in SF Bay area hospitals for a few more years. I tired of working with heart surgeon...Expand for more
s and took an entry level wine cellar job in 1977 that led me to wine making position at Sonoma-Cutrer Vineyards. I retired from SCV in 2010 and am still making wine as a consultant. The 2016 harvest will be my 40th vintage.
I was married for 20 years and have two wonderful sons, one in San Francisco and one in New York. I currently live in Occidental, CA, in the redwoods and not far from the ocean. I am still driving my Spartan Chariot, a 1930 Model A Ford. Life has been good to me.
