Terry Anne's Story
Life
I am married and have been since December 1986. I have three children. A daughter, Amanda, born September 1987, and 2 sons, Jesse born October 1991 and Zachary born 4 July 1996 (what a cool birthday!). We have lived in Alabama for most of our marriage. We have also lived in Novato, California, Fairfield, California and Ridgeland, Mississippi. Each of our children was born in a different state and two on opposite coasts.
We currently reside in Eufaula, Alabama which is located along the Alabama-Georgia state line.
I am a full-time student at Troy University in Phenix City, Alabama. I graduated with an Associate's Degree in May 2004 from Chattahoochee Valley Community College in Phenix City, AL. I should receive my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education in January 2006 (the same year my daughter graduates from high school.)

College
I may have waited a long time, but I am doing better at this point in my life than I would have if I had gone right out of high school.
Workplace
I have held many, many jobs over the last 20 years. I have been a sales clerk & cashier (Wilmington Dry Goods--Claymont, DE, Ceramic Shop--Hamilton Airfield Novato, CA, Winn-Dixie--Eufaula, AL), waitress (Holiday Inn--Dothan, AL, Tony's Italian Restaurant--Novato, CA), kiln operator, secretary, clerk typist (glorified secretary for payroll department of State of Alabama!), stocker for Winn-Dixie, lab assistant at Chattahoochee Valley Community College (Phenix City, AL), full-time mom (and all the titles that fall under it), and Navy wife.
Currently I teach Sixth Grade Science, Social Studies, and Reading in Oxford, Alabama. I LOVE it!
Military
I held one of the toughest jobs in the military. I am a Navy wife. I have survived three one-year deployments, with the last being Operation Iraqi Freedom (my husband spent a year in Bahrain), each deployment left me raising one more child. The first two deployments occurred 1 1/2 months after the birth of a child, and the last didn't occur until our son was 6 yrs. old.
I wouldn't change this job for anything!
