Terry's Story
1963 Class: Please send me your contact information. I'm trying to update the records that I have assembled and merge them with those of the Alumni Association. We do have our 50 year reunion in just over one year: June 6-8, 2013. June 6th is the 50 Year Lucheon. Let's have a great representation of our class.
LMHS: Football, ROTC, Glee Club, Brook n Breck Staff, and a few General Studies classes mixed in
After graduating from Male I have lived in Louisville except fro ten years in Texas and two years in the US Army (one year in Vietnam).
I began college as a music major at Kentucky Southern College and then transferred to the Music School at the University of Louisville where I studied and received my degree in Vocal Performance.
I have served several churches as music director and continue to do some interim church music work. For several years I traveled mostly on weekends singing with different groups. I was the lea...Expand for more
d singer for the Monarchs for about five years after returning from Vietnam. Another group I was with in Nashville included one of our classmates, Danny (Carl) Frederick. We did a lot of studio work and some Vanderbilt dances. I still sing (mostly weddings and funerals) but not as much and NO traveling.
I am married to Emily Newberry Atchison from Barren County, Kentucky. We have two children and five grandchildren. My time is now devoted to the grandchildren.
Many of you remember my parents from their involvement with LMHS. My father died in 1967 and my mother in 2008. I don't believe my father missed any local LMHS football games for six years (3 years while I was there and the following 3 years when my brother was at Male).
