Terry's Story

Life I was born in the backseat of a Greyhound bus, goin' down Highway 41. Was a little skinny, could've used a few pounds. I wasn't good lookin' but you know I wasn't shy, wasn't afraid to look a girl in the eye. At that point, I liked to do the Wango Tango. But now I'm gettin' older, so much older, and I long for those young boy days. With a reader like you. Or were those the dance hall days? Some people call me the space cowboy. ince the music program to this day hasn't really had the same success or participation it did back then. The only way I would do it over again is if I could take my current knowledge and disposition with me. I would definitely have made some better choices. But, my life would have turned out different than it has, so ultimately I really don't want to go back. I do miss the brighter outlook that the world had back then--heck, Billy Idol was considered a bad influence! Fast forward to today and mothers would be inviting Billy over for dinner. And people had more respect for the value of life back then than they do now. There weren't as many senseless killings as there are now.
