Terry's Story
It all started in the 80's. Where do I start? I attended college for awhile. Went back here and there, nothing concrete, did not know what I wanted to do with my life. So, I got this brain storm and I thought that I wanted to join the Airforce. I was on my way..However, as fate would have it, I met a man in church and he and I ended up married in 1982. All our kids were born in the 80's. In 1998, I was divorced, and in 1999 I remarried to a wonderful and the most loving and adorable man, he takes good care of me. I married my very best friend. God has been so good to me. We lived in Lodi for awhile while attending a church in Stockton. There we started a homeless ministry (which is still going on to this day). Boulevard, CA (50-55 miles east of San Deigo). We became the senior pastors of a church there. The area was great, no traffic, so peaceful and very quiet. I loved being there because it snowed in the winter. (I love the winter). In 2008, we moved back to Stockton, I enrolled in college this time I was determined to complete it. I started attending Kaplan College in Stockton, we moved to Sacramento after living in Stockton for 6 months. Transfered to Kaplan here in Sacramento. Graduated in June, 2009. If it wasn't for the Lord helping me, I would not been able to complete it. I now work as a Instructor at Kaplan here in Sacramento. My husband and I attend a church in Fairfield, CA. We became the outreach pastors. We love it!..The Lord is doing some incredible things with us.
