Terry's Story

Life Hey everbody!! Go to the workplace section to see abbreviated bio Terry College Hey Everybody! I went to Delta College as Advanced Placement while in high school for a few basic classes[1975-1976]-followed by enrollment at Northwood Institute [now Northwood University] in the Fall of 1976. I did receive my assosiate's degree in Business Management in Spring 1978-followed by a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management in Spring 1980. Oh does that seem like an aweful long time ago! Terry Workplace Hi everybody! Let's take this trip by the shortest possible route. After graduation in june '76, I enrolled at Northwood Institute-[University now]. I received an associate degree in 1978 in business management-then a bachelor degree in 1980 in business administration. I should back-up and say I was married my sophomore summer [1978] to Donna Dammann [from Zilwaukee]. We lived in Freeland MI while finishing college. We bought a lot in Hemlock in 1979 & moved ...Expand for more
our mobile home to it while we built a new home [that's a story in itself],finished it and moved in the Fall of 1982. Our first child [Philip] was born in Oct-1982. The next year 1983, we started our family business Area Tent & Canvas. We started to make custom made boat covers plus rented party tents[still do it today!]. Next along came our second child Rita -April1984...Followed by another daughter Dana in Jan 1987...Followed by another son Calvin Sept 1988... Followed finally by our last daughter Lydia July1990. Phew! Lots and lots of kids! Right now I have the 3 oldest in college & the other 2 in high school! Regretfully, we lost Donna [after a 20 month battle]-just alittle shy of our 25th wedding anniversery- to Non-Hodgskins Lymphoma in April 2003....And so...we march onward-hopefully toward Brighter Days Ahead! Terry Military No Military Service Here! I probably would have landed in the Brig-I wouldn't listen to anybody back then! HA ! Terry
